Directions to Pico - Fastest Route

Take Route 44 West until it dead ends into Route 106. Turn left onto Route 106 South. Going into Reading, the Speed Limit reduces to 30 MPH. Turn Right onto Tyson Road. There is a General Store on the corner. This will take you up over a long hill and dead end at Route 100. Turn right onto Route 100 North. After several miles you will come to a dead end and a stoplight. Turn left onto Route 4/Route 100. Travel up a long grade, past the Killington Access Road. Pico entrance will be on your left. Go to base lodge on the right, registration is usually on 1^st floor. Travel time is 50 minutes in good weather.

Alternate Route to Pico

Directions above may be treacherous from Reading over to Route 100. If you have 4-wheel drive or the roads are clear no problem. If it is snowing it is advised to take the alternate route.

Take Route 44 West until it dead ends into Route 106. Turn right onto Route 106 North. Once you enter the town of Woodstock, you will be at a stop sign looking across at the town green. You must turn right. Take 1^st left following around town green to end of green, then bear right onto Route 4. Take Route 4 towards Killington. Travel up a long grade, past the Killington Access Road. Pico entrance will be on your left. Go to base lodge on the right, registration is usually on 1^st floor. Travel time is 60 minutes in good weather.
